AWANA

Welcome to AWANA!  The letters stand for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” according to II Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” More than forty years ago, the Awana ministry was started to introduce kids to a relationship with Jesus Christ and to build lives on the Word of God. Today, there are more than 13,000 clubs all over the world and hundreds of thousands of clubbers memorizing verses and having fun doing it.

 

Our AWANA Club meets during the school year on Sunday evenings, 6:00 to 7:30pm for children age 3 through grade 8. AWANA resumes for the 2010-11 season on August 29th. 
 

Cubbies: Preschoolers Ages 3 - 5
Sparks:  Grades K – 2
Truth and Training (T & T): Grades 3 - 5
Trek: Grades 6-8

This weekly meeting consists of:  Handbook Time, Games, and Lesson Time.  While the facilities and equipment are provided by the church, each clubber is asked to pay a registration fee of $10 to help with the cost of supplies for the clubs, which includes handbooks and rewards.  Awana T-shirts can be purchased for an additional $12 each.
