Community Services

One of our five core values is reaching out with hope in Christ. When we think of practical ways to do this in our community, we think of community services such as providing free bread that we’ve collected or a grocery bag full of food from our pantry. We think of teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), or providing specialized seminars that address local or national issues.

We think of opening our facilities for a health screening event, or a marriage seminar. We are always collecting clothing, personal items, and even furniture to give away to the Lord’s Place, First Care, or other local ministries who are in need. Our youth group makes frequent trips to Indiantown, Belle Glade, or Clewiston to distribute those items as well. In each of these ways we can make an active and vital contribution to our community.

BREAD DISTRIBUTION
One night a week, we pick up the leftover breads & pastries from a local bakery. Then every Friday beginning @ 8 am , the free bread is distributed at the south end of Veteran's Park in Royal Palm Beach. Word of mouth has brought many people out to the park to pick up bags of bread for their own families, as well as some for their neighbors.
